Drawing and writing have been hobbies of V.A. Diaz since childhood. She hopes to someday publish her own story as a book or a web comic.
About VA Diaz's Reading & Writing
I take pleasure in writing about fantasy more than modern-day settings, but I don't have a problem with doing the latter. I attempt to make my characters as realistic as possible. I also habitually include dragons somewhere in fictional works. To avoid writer's block, I try to exercise my brain by taking on prompt challenges or writing short stories, whether they're from an entire plot or significant scenes of the bigger picture. I tend to write more dialogue than I do description, since in the past, bulky descriptive paragraphs have acted as a repellent for my interest in continuing certain stories. I'm inspired by fictional worlds and concepts from movies or animated series, which is where the birth of my original fiction story came about. I haven't read as many books as I should, but I suppose I must change that sooner than later. To be a good writer, you must also be a good reader, correct?
Surprisingly, I do not have one.
I don't have a favorite book either.
