Using Cultural Trends as a Hook for Book Promotion
Really liked what BC Member Jesse Smith said in our Member Spotlight today on the blog about how he's used the popularity of the Tom Hanks Captain Philipps movie to plus his book THE MEGIDDO REVENGE. This is a tactic I remember well from my days as a book publicist--you should always be trying to look for that angle, that hook, connecting your book into a larger cultural conversation.
