About the Author:

I am an Elementary Education Major with a concentration in English. I love art so I though writing children's books is a bridge between all the things I love.

Author's Note:

I intended this book to be a picture book. The lines of the book are set up like a poem like other picture books such as "Goodnight Moon" (one of my inspirations). I also played on the idea of a child's imagination as see in "Where the Wild Things Are". I have thought a lot about the counterpoint between the picture and the words and how they play off each other. I hope I can figure out a way to either explain what the picture would look like for each line and/or upload some rough sketches that I have created.
