About the Book:
Animals in Pants, a beloved genre. Also, well explored. Or, maybe not. Check my thing out.
There's dandy grub, of course. And fun and games: A Conga line. A groundhog jitterbug. Hep-cat crickets. Mice, mad to limbo. A woefully mismatched King and Queen of Summer who fall for each other, hard. There's, uh-oh, an owl attack, and a cameo appearance by Mae West. Midsummer Eve and Mae West. What's up with that? Intrigued? I hope so. By the way, it's verse.
Let's see ... animals in pants, Midsummer Eve, verse. You ain't touching it with a ten foot pole. Look, I'm telling you, it's not what you expect. Not by a long shot.
About the Author:
Mimi Speike's work is smart, sly, and gloriously silly. But, what genre is it? That's a tough one. Screwball Fantasy with Philosophical Pretensions comes close.
