Author's Note:

This is my procrastination project for the afternoon while I'm avoiding nailing down the new version of Flight of the Wren. I hope it might prove diverting. The whole question of genre raises it's head again. I'm sure some will regard 'interstices' as misleading, but really, it's just an oddball little tale – a hybrid creature, slovenly in appearance but with, hopefully, a sting in its stub-like tail.
