About the Book:

Tony Parisi at age 15 already had a hard enough life, being queer and all and living in this old-fashioned Italian neighborhood, but his father’s beatings were becoming more violent and he knew it was just a matter of time before one of those beating would be his last. After a particularly vicious beating, Tony turns up at Frank’s doorstep looking for protection. What he gets is an introduction into a new world. At first the teenager is fascinated by the sophisticated older man and fits right in to the circle of young boys that populate the house. What Tony is not realizing is that Frank is controlling his every move and molding his personality to conform to his own standards. Tony is so desperate to please that after only a few years together nothing remains of Tony but what Frank has made of him.

About the Author:
