About the Book:

After interrupting a bizarre pirate attack, Janis and the crew of the Aegis, a battered old quadrireme restricted to simple shuttle runs, were expecting the rest of their voyage to be much quieter. Then someone tried to ram an asteroid into the gnomish capital while they were there. Stopping that forced them to start asking questions. Who was behind all this? How had they gotten the fractious races to ally, especially the Orcs? And what was it with their obsession with ice? Joined by the loudmouth Ambassador she'd like to be delivering, a slacker marine with a tendency to be in the middle of things, a heretical dwarf magus, an outcast elf lore keeper, a mutant brothel madam with a secret, an escaped goblin slave and her deadly mount, Janis races across the worlds of the Orrery, desperately seeking answers to the questions she barely understands. Only by discovering the lies taken for granted will she find her path and only on the Dead Planet will she find her answers.

Author's Note:

This is new redraft of my fantasy space opera. Heavy on the fantastical, it's hopefully something very different to the normal offerings.
