About the Book:

The story follows Sapphyre, a young orphan who is unaware she is the daughter of a Star God and a mortal witch. While working in a tavern, she meets Ashcon, a RuneStar who is a powerful practitioner of magic and a defender of the Light and the Stars. Ashcon is aware that Sapphyre has innate magical abilities and convinces her to join him as he can find the answers she seeks as to her true heritage. Their meeting sets into motion ancient prophecies which spurs Drak'thonn, the fraternal twin brother of Ashcon and the chosen one of the Zagador, the Dark Gods, to begin his plans to take over the world. Sapphyre eventually learns that not only does she have the ability to become one of the most powerful magic users, but what the prophecies actually reveal is that in joining Ashcon and his companions in their epic battle against his brother and the forces of the Dark Horde, the fate of their world rests on her shoulders as she is the only one powerful enough to stave off Eternal Night.

Author's Note:

This is a passion project that I've been working on for quite some time and the first book is complete and I'm looking for feedback on any aspect of it. I think it's a really good story with a lot of potential...yet I know it has flaws since this is my first writing project and that's why I think this site is a perfect forum for it. I know I'm a good story teller and I'm working on becoming a good writer. I welcome feedback as that's what I'm looking for to make it into what I believe can be a great epic fantasy.
