An alternate-Earth, late 19th-century tale of imperialism, expansionist railroading, high society power and privilege, genocidal racism, mind-control and the forced inculcation of those religio-political values and beliefs that enabled church and state to run roughshod over marginalized, dissenting voices in the name of “Progress” and “Manifest Destiny”. So . . . nothing like actual, "real-Earth" US history, then. . . .

Born: Chicago, 1963. Joined USMC: 17. Worked 4 yrs as a photo-journalist in Okinawa, Japan. Attended U. of Maryland (far-east): focus: ENG, PHIL, PSYCH & HIS.
