About the Book:

What is the ultimate meaning of life? What happens when we die? What happens if we don't die? And what do intelligent space aliens think of us? "Ask and ye shall find." Speculative fiction makes no such guarantees. Neither does it hit you over the head with intense metaphysics. This book of short stories is an imaginative exploration of life and afterlife; the possibilities of continued consciousness. Many of the stories are linked. For example, the Death Defier is told as a story in six parts. It was my intention from the start to write stories that could be strung on a theme, and to include humor, adult circumstance, mystery, and a range of afterlife possibilities.

About the Author:

I am a published poet in small and medium sized journals. But I like to write: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, literary grocery list... Well, you get the idea.

Author's Note:

I have included about 30% of a completed book for review. All of the stories have been read by friends, and I feel there is a degree of polish. But I'm always open to feedback and suggestion. I'm also curious if these stories fit in the genre of fantasy. I'm not sure what to do with them.
