About the Book:

Ren Gudrunsdottir can’t seem to stay out of trouble, or so everyone in Boot City is always telling her. But Ren has her own definition of trouble and thinks nothing of tracking goblins through the forest or tempting fate by sneaking into the den of a most dangerous predator. When her best friend is bitten by a soul stealing dauthi snake, she finds out what real trouble is. To save her friend, Ren indeed goes to hell and back. Along the way she uncovers a plot that could destroy her home, faces off against an angry god, and at last learns what it is to be truly brave.

About the Author:

Extreme introvert, language geek with two kids, one dog, awesome husband, a caffeine addiction, never-to-be-used-law-degree and a wish to travel far far away.

Author's Note:

This is a major revision of a story I first posted in the summer of 2011. Characters' names have been changed. Vetra is now Ren, and Reytha is now Ambrose or Rose.
