About the Book:
All Aithera of Athens wants on her trip to Delphi is to fulfill her father’s last wish and get a break from her tiresome new husband. Finding a body on the altar of Dionysos on her first day in town is not in her plans. Neither is getting involved in the search for the killer, falling for the son of a famous priestess, or getting pulled into the ancient struggle for control of the two most powerful oracles in the world. But that’s exactly what happens when Themistokles, Aithera's tutor and a man with a reputation for finding the truth, is asked to investigate. When a priest hints that Themistokles himself may be involved, Aithera is certain the old man is crazy—until Nikomakos, son of the priestess of Dodona, arrives with an urgent message. As Themistokles's past, greedy priests, paranoid priestesses, visions, prophecies, and stolen treasures complicate the investigation, Aithera finds herself falling for Nikomakos whose dangerous secrets may hold the key to the murder.

Author's Note:
I'm finally getting back to Book Country. It's been a while since I've even checked in because I've been working on publishing other people's works through my two publishing companies--Blank Slate Press and Treehouse Publishing Group. But I've got a bit of breathing room and am returning to ORACLES.
So I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read and or comment. I'm in the midst of a serious revision now and will keep them in mind.
